Balogun's individual coach, Saul Isaksson-Hurst, describes him as a natural finisher with the potential to excel as a top striker. Balogun's journey includes a challenging loan at Middlesbrough, where he scored only three goals in 18 games, but he rebounded with a successful loan at Reims, netting 22 goals in 39 matches.

Since joining Monaco in 2023 for £35 million, Balogun has scored 31 goals in 91 appearances.
