Folarin Balogun Withdraws from Everton Transfer Deal
Folarin Balogun will not be transferring to Everton from Monaco, as confirmed by reports on Tuesday.
Initial discussions suggested a deal worth between 40 and 50 million pounds was in the works, but complications arose regarding Balogun's medical examination. Despite Everton's attempts to extend negotiations after the transfer window closed, Balogun chose not to finalize the agreement and left the club's training facility.
The 25-year-old forward, who previously scored three goals for the U.S. national team during the World Cup, has two years remaining on his contract with Monaco. Balogun has a history with Arsenal's academy and has played in various leagues, including a notable season where he scored 13 goals in Ligue 1.
