Forest Green Rovers Initiates Legal Action Against Peterborough United Over Robbie Savage
Forest Green Rovers has announced that it is taking legal action against Peterborough United concerning the recruitment of Robbie Savage, who recently left the club to become their manager.
Dale Vince, the owner of Forest Green, stated that he initially blocked discussions about Savage's move but felt compelled to agree after Peterborough approached the manager directly. Vince revealed this development in a video posted on social media, indicating that the club has initiated legal proceedings for what he describes as the illegal tapping up of their former manager.
Peterborough United has not commented on the legal action but has previously denied any wrongdoing in their approach for Savage. Since joining Peterborough, Savage has recorded two wins, two draws, and two losses across all competitions.
