Formula E Reschedules 2027 Monaco E-Prix to Avoid WEC Conflict

Formula E has adjusted its 2027 calendar by moving the Monaco E-Prix forward by two weeks to May 1-2, aiming to avoid a clash with the World Endurance Championship (WEC).

This change means that the races in Monte Carlo will now occur before the Berlin double-header, which was originally set for May 15-16, coinciding with the WEC event at Spa-Francorchamps.

Despite resolving the Monaco-Spa overlap, a scheduling conflict remains as the Shanghai E-Prix on July 10-11 will coincide with the WEC's Sao Paulo round, requiring some drivers to choose between the two competitions. The 2026/27 Formula E season is set to begin in Jeddah on December 18-19, pending geopolitical conditions.
