FPL Gameweek 8: Players Facing Suspensions and Returns

The Fantasy Premier League (FPL) is monitoring players who are accumulating yellow cards as Gameweek 8 approaches. This includes individuals who are close to receiving a one-match ban, those already suspended, and players returning from suspension.

Igor Thiago, along with Vitaly Janelt, Oli McBurnie, and Matt Crooks, has received four yellow cards, putting him at risk of suspension. Janelt was recently sent off, but this does not affect his yellow card tally. Additionally, 11 players are on three bookings, needing to avoid further cautions to prevent a ban.

Among those on three bookings is Pascal Gross, a highly owned midfielder, and Yoane Wissa, who is experiencing a decline in popularity among Fantasy managers. Janelt will serve a one-match ban, while Yehor Yarmoliuk faces a three-match suspension for violent conduct. Ryan Sessegnon is also set to miss three matches due to serious foul play. Meanwhile, Ryan Gravenberch and Axel Disasi are returning from their suspensions this weekend.
