Francesco Bagnaia Stops on Track After Frustrating Practice at Aragón

Francesco Bagnaia, the Ducati rider, experienced a challenging practice session for the Aragón Grand Prix, finishing in 13th place and missing Q2. He noted a decline in his performance since the British GP at Silverstone.

During the practice, Bagnaia struggled with pace, ultimately being the slowest Ducati and finishing over a second behind the leading Aprilia rider, Marco Bezzecchi. Despite a final attempt to break into the top 10 on a fresh soft tire, he made an error at the last corner.

After the session, Bagnaia chose to stop on the track to gather his thoughts before heading back to the garage, acknowledging his frustration with his performance. He mentioned that he has not felt comfortable on the bike since Silverstone and has been struggling with various aspects of riding, including braking and rear grip. He expressed hope that his team could find solutions for the upcoming sessions.
