Frankie Luvu Suffers Minor Groin Strain
Frankie Luvu, a linebacker for the Commanders, has sustained a minor groin strain as reported by various sources.
His status for the upcoming game against the Cowboys is currently uncertain, although the injury is not anticipated to be long-term. In the previous game, Luvu recorded four tackles and a sack before the injury occurred. Leo Chenal stepped in for him, while rookie Sonny Styles assumed the green-dot responsibilities.
Additionally, tight end Chig Okonkwo, safety Tyler Owens, and linebacker Jordan Magee also exited the game due to injuries. Coach Dan Quinn did not offer any updates on these injuries on Monday. On Tuesday, the Commanders held workouts for seven players, which included four linebackers and two tight ends.
