Fraser Dingwall Named New Club Captain of Northampton Saints

Northampton Saints have announced the appointment of Fraser Dingwall as their new club captain. The 27-year-old centre takes over the role after George Furbank's transfer to Harlequins.

Dingwall, who has been with the Saints since joining their academy at age 13, has made over 150 senior appearances and is the club's 69th captain since its establishment in 1880. He played a crucial role in the team's recent successes, including two Premiership titles in three years and a spot in the 2025 Champions Cup final.

Saints' director of rugby, Phil Dowson, praised Dingwall's leadership qualities, noting his growth into an influential figure within the squad. Dingwall has previously captained the team during Furbank's injury absences and is recognized for his strong communication and organizational skills on the field.
