Freddie Freeman Leaves Game Against Cubs with Injury

Freddie Freeman, the first baseman for the Los Angeles Dodgers, left Wednesday's game against the Chicago Cubs in the fifth inning due to an apparent injury.

During an at-bat in the top of the fifth, Freeman seemed to wince after a check swing and appeared to be in pain while looking at his wrist. Although he was replaced by Enrique Hernandez at first base in the bottom of the inning, the team has not yet provided an official update on the injury's severity.

Prior to his exit, Freeman had one hit in three at-bats. The 36-year-old has been performing well this season, boasting a .310 batting average and an .871 OPS, along with 15 home runs and 54 RBIs, having missed only three games this year.
