
Freddie Slater to Compete in F2 with Invicta Racing in 2027
Freddie Slater, an 18-year-old driver from Britain, is set to join Invicta Racing in Formula 2 for the 2027 season. Slater, who is part of the Audi Driver Development Programme, previously competed in the FIA Formula 3 Championship with Trident Motorsport, where he finished as the runner-up in his rookie season.
During his time in Formula 3, Slater secured one feature race win, three pole positions, and eight podium finishes, showcasing his competitiveness throughout the year. His transition to Formula 2 will allow him to build on this experience with a team that has a strong track record, having won consecutive Drivers' and Teams' titles in 2024 and 2025.
Slater's racing career began in 2022, and he has since achieved significant milestones, including winning multiple championships in Ginetta and Formula 4. He will continue to receive support from the Audi Driver Development Programme as he prepares for the challenges ahead in Formula 2.
