Freddie Slater to Compete in Formula 2 with Invicta Racing in 2027

Freddie Slater, an Audi junior and runner-up in Formula 3, is set to join Invicta Racing for the 2027 Formula 2 season after a notable campaign in 2026 with Trident.

During his time in Formula 3, Slater achieved four consecutive podium finishes, briefly leading the championship before finishing the season as the top rookie with eight podiums, including a victory in Hungary.

Slater expressed enthusiasm about his move to Formula 2, highlighting the support from Audi's Driver Development Programme and the successful history of Invicta Racing in the series. Audi's programme director noted Slater's strong performance in Formula 3 and emphasized the importance of this transition for his development as a driver.
