Fremantle Delists Jaren Carr but Plans to Redraft Him
Fremantle has announced the delisting of Jaren Carr, who was their first father-son selection, but plans to redraft him in the upcoming rookie intake in November.
Carr was selected by the Dockers with Pick 63 in 2024 and has been developing his skills since then. He participated in 17 games for Peel Thunder in 2026, including a grand final victory against Claremont.
His father, Matthew Carr, played 134 games for Fremantle from 2001 to 2008, while his uncle, Josh Carr, played 83 games for the club and is currently the senior coach at Port Adelaide. Alongside Carr, other players such as Koby Evans, Luke Lloyd, Harry DeMattia, and Riley Garcia have also been delisted but may be redrafted as rookies.
