Fremantle's Murphy Reid Unlikely to Play Against Carlton

Reid's consecutive-game streak, which began with his debut in Round 1 last year, ended last week due to a groin injury sustained during a loss to Melbourne. Longmuir noted that Reid would train fully but remains unlikely to play this week.

In contrast, ruckman Sean Darcy received encouraging news from recent scans on his calf, marking a rare positive update for the injury-prone player. Longmuir mentioned that Darcy's scan results were very favorable, and he hopes to participate in training ahead of the match. Captain Alex Pearce is also recovering well from a cork injury. Fremantle has secured the minor premiership and views the upcoming game as a preparation for the finals.
