Future Surfing Champions Compete at ISA Junior Championships in El Salvador

This week in El Salvador, the ISA Junior Championships are underway, featuring 427 surfers from 56 countries competing for future glory in the sport.

The event, running from September 4 to 13, includes 132 heats across various age divisions, highlighting young talent that could become the next generation of Championship Tour surfers and Olympians.

Australia, the winner of the last two editions, is represented by defending boys' under-16 champion Ocean Lancaster. This championship is part of El Salvador's ongoing initiative to promote itself as a premier surfing destination, with expectations for more events in the future.
