Gabe Kidd Makes Surprise Return on AEW Dynamite

Gabe Kidd made a surprise return to AEW Dynamite on Wednesday, reuniting with The Dogs after several months away from the ring.

Kidd intervened in a brawl involving Clark Connors, David Finlay, Orange Cassidy, and Kyle O’Reilly, which followed Jon Moxley’s victory over Jay White in the Continental Challenge Cup. His return also led to the involvement of AEW World Trios Champions Hangman Page and Brodido, setting the stage for an open Trios title challenge at All In.

Prior to his return, Kidd had not appeared in AEW since losing the Trios titles in April due to a shoulder injury and subsequent visa complications. During his absence, Connors and Finlay competed in the tag team division but were unable to secure the AEW World Tag Team titles in July. Kidd recently returned to NJPW, where he won the IWGP Global title and participated in this year’s G1 tournament.
