Gamrot Anticipates Boost from Poirier at UFC Vegas 120

Mateusz Gamrot is set to compete against Quillan Salkilld in the main event at UFC Vegas 120 on August 8 at Meta Apex in Las Vegas. He expressed that having Dustin Poirier in attendance will significantly boost his energy levels.

Poirier, a fellow fighter from American Top Team, will serve as an analyst for the event, marking his return to broadcasting after a public drunkenness arrest in June. Gamrot noted that Poirier's presence in the gym brings a unique energy that motivates him.

Currently, Gamrot holds a record of 2-2 in his last four fights, with his most recent victory coming from a submission against Esteban Ribovics. Salkilld, on the other hand, has achieved four first-round finishes in his five UFC victories, including a stoppage of Beneil Dariush in May. The fight is scheduled to begin Saturday night.
