Garmin Launches Enhanced fēnix® 9 and fēnix 9 Pro Smartwatches

Garmin has launched the fēnix® 9 and fēnix 9 Pro, the latest additions to its flagship smartwatch series aimed at athletes and adventurers. These multisport GPS smartwatches are designed to enhance performance and exploration.

The new models include significant upgrades such as Garmin Epic, which allows users to create shareable stories from multiple activities, and improved stamina metrics for better training adjustments. The fēnix 9 Pro also features built-in satellite and LTE connectivity for voice, text, and SOS communication directly from the watch.

Both models offer customizable ComfortFit accessory bands and various battery life options, with the fēnix 9 Pro providing up to 31 days in smartwatch mode and solar models extending that to 57 days. The fēnix 9 series is now available for purchase, with pricing starting at R000000.
