
Gautam Gambhir Prepares Team for Sri Lanka Test Series
India's head coach Gautam Gambhir has expressed confidence in his team's preparedness for the two-Test series against Sri Lanka, which begins on August 15. Despite recent challenges in home Test matches, Gambhir assured that the team will be ready to face any situation that arises during the series.
During a team meeting before practice in Colombo, Gambhir welcomed new players Saransh Jain and Auqib Nabi. He emphasized the importance of pushing limits and being fully prepared for the matches. The first Test will take place in Galle on August 15, followed by the second match starting August 23.
Saransh Jain was selected based on his strong performances in domestic cricket, while Auqib Nabi joins the squad as a replacement for the injured Jasprit Bumrah. Gambhir congratulated both players, highlighting their hard work and achievements in recent seasons.
