GCW Promoter Discusses Avery Styles Controversy
Brett Lauderdale, the promoter of Game Changer Wrestling (GCW), has expressed support for Avery Styles following a recent social media controversy. The situation arose when wrestler Arik Cannon criticized Styles for allegedly avoiding responsibilities at a GCW event.
Lauderdale clarified that while Cannon is respected, he does not represent GCW's views. He emphasized that Avery, who is the son of renowned wrestler AJ Styles, should be afforded the same consideration as any teenager starting their wrestling career. Avery made his in-ring debut in June and has since participated in two matches for GCW.
Despite AJ Styles' retirement from active competition earlier this year, there are speculations about the possibility of him teaming with his children at a WWE event, which could entice him to return to the ring.
