Geelong Prepares for Elimination Final with Key Player Returns
Geelong's coach Chris Scott has revealed that the team is likely to see the return of three key players for their Elimination Final against Carlton at the MCG on Friday night.
Max Holmes, who has been sidelined since round 19 due to a fractured ankle, along with Oliver Wiltshire, who missed the last match with a foot sprain, and Mark Blicavs, who was managed, are all expected to participate in the finals.
Scott expressed the challenges of team selection, noting that while it is a positive issue to have many capable players, it remains difficult to make final decisions. He confirmed that Holmes is ready to play, having met the necessary performance milestones. Scott also acknowledged Carlton's strong form leading into the match, emphasizing the need to respect their balanced team and good record against Geelong.
