George Russell Announces Dedicated Grandstand at Silverstone
George Russell has announced the establishment of a dedicated grandstand at Silverstone, named the George Russell Grandstand, which will be available from 2027. This grandstand will be situated at Farm Curve and will offer ticketholders a three-day reserved seat, an official T-shirt, and access to various entertainment zones and the Silverstone Museum.
Russell chose the Farm Curve location for its optimal viewing of multiple corners, including the race start and key overtaking spots. He expressed his desire to give back to fans and create a sense of community through this initiative.
Reflecting on his childhood, Russell recalled his first visit to Silverstone in 2009, where he supported Sebastian Vettel while wearing a Red Bull jacket. He noted the significance of Silverstone in his journey with Formula 1 and Mercedes.
Priority ticket access will begin on September 23, with general sales starting the following day.
