
Georgia Adams Extends Contract with Hampshire Women's Team
Georgia Adams, the captain of Hampshire women's cricket team, has secured a new two-year contract that will keep her at the Utilita Bowl until 2028.
The 32-year-old has been with the Southern Vipers since 2016, during which she has contributed to the team's success, winning six trophies. Adams has also achieved victories in The Hundred with teams such as Oval Invincibles, Southern Brave, and Trent Rockets, as well as winning the WBBL with Adelaide Strikers in 2023.
Adams expressed her enthusiasm for continuing her career with Hampshire, highlighting the club's strong record and commitment to player development. Currently, Hampshire is positioned second in the Women's One-Day Cup, having won eight out of eleven group matches, with their next game against Surrey scheduled for Wednesday.
