German Formula 4 Series to Feature 14 Teams Starting in 2027
The German Formula 4 series is scheduled to return in 2027, featuring 14 confirmed teams that will compete in five rounds supporting the DTM. This marks the series' comeback after a four-year hiatus.
Among the entrants is Comtoyou Racing, a Belgian team that recently achieved success in DTM. The series has seen significant interest, with over 70 applications submitted, although only 14 teams were selected by the organizers, including DTM legend Kris Nissen.
Noteworthy teams include LN4 Fusion, co-founded by Formula 1 champion Lando Norris, and FS Motorsports, established by DTM racer Augusto Farfus. The Vanwall F4 Racing project, led by Colin Kolles, plans to enter four cars, joining other teams like Van Amersfoort Racing and Mathilda Racing.
