Under the guidance of head coach Freddie Okyere, the squad has participated in several matches, achieving notable results including a 9-0 victory over Dorking Wanderers and a 6-0 win against Peterborough U19s. Scouts from clubs such as Bournemouth, Everton, and Manchester City have shown interest in the players during their stay.
The academy, based in Kumasi, Ghana, is working towards enhancing its facilities to provide better training opportunities. Antonio emphasized the incredible talent of the players and the importance of giving them access to elite coaching. The Samba Stars hope to establish themselves as one of the top academies in Ghana, aiming to bring more talent to Europe.
