Giants' Cam Skattebo Faces Demotion After Fumbles and Performance Issues

Following a 34-27 loss to the New Orleans Saints, New York Giants running back Cam Skattebo acknowledged that he did not receive any touches during the game due to being penalized for a fumble in a previous match against the Washington Commanders.

Analyst Tiki Barber indicated that Skattebo's reduced role was influenced by more than just the fumble, citing a series of negative plays throughout the season, including misreading the run game and failing to understand protection responsibilities.

Despite his absence in the game against the Saints, the Giants remained at the top of the NFC East standings. Skattebo is expected to have another chance to demonstrate improvement when the team faces the Houston Texans on October 25.
