Giants Fall to Saints, QB Situation Uncertain
The New York Giants suffered a 34-27 defeat against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday at MetLife Stadium, bringing their record to 3-2-1.
After trailing 34-10 at the start of the fourth quarter, the Giants rallied to score 17 points, narrowing the gap to a one-score game with two minutes left. Quarterbacks J.J. McCarthy and Jameis Winston both saw action, with Winston completing 14 of 26 passes for 152 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions, while McCarthy went 11 of 21 for 243 yards, one touchdown, and one interception.
Following McCarthy's strong performance, questions arose regarding the starting quarterback for the upcoming week. Coach John Harbaugh indicated that a decision is being finalized but did not confirm a starter, suggesting McCarthy could take over for Week 7 against the Houston Texans.
