Giants Halt Payments to Harrison Bader Following Scooter Accident

The San Francisco Giants have decided to suspend payments to Harrison Bader due to a scooter accident that has worsened his foot injury, leading to the end of his season.

Bader was already sidelined since May 29 with plantar fasciitis in his left foot, and the recent incident has delayed his treatment. Giants President of Baseball Operations Buster Posey confirmed that the team is investigating the accident's circumstances and will withhold payments until Bader can resume his duties.

Bader, who signed a two-year, $20.5 million contract with the Giants in January, played 30 games this season, achieving a batting average of .170 with five home runs. The Giants currently hold a record of 47-62, placing them fourth in the NL West.
