Giants OC Compares Malik Nabers to Travis Kelce
Matt Nagy, the offensive coordinator for the New York Giants, has likened wide receiver Malik Nabers to Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, with whom he has previously worked. Nagy made these comments following Nabers' expressed desire for increased involvement in the team's offense.
Nabers made headlines after the Giants' recent victory over the Arizona Cardinals, where he indicated he wanted more passes in the second half. Despite only one catch for 28 yards in that period, he finished the game with six receptions for 112 yards and a touchdown.
Nagy acknowledged the emotional nature of the game and emphasized the importance of ensuring players like Nabers receive the ball. He noted that he had a productive conversation with Nabers about this topic, and while Nabers is dealing with a sore knee, he is expected to play in the upcoming game against the Washington Commanders.
