Giants Place Odell Beckham Jr. as Third-String WR on Depth Chart
The New York Giants unveiled their first depth chart of the summer on Wednesday, indicating Odell Beckham Jr.'s position as a third-string wide receiver.
Beckham shares this spot with three other wideouts, despite having previously participated in first-team reps during training camp. His chances of making the team may be hindered by his lack of special teams play.
Darius Slayton and Malik Nabers are listed as starters, while Calvin Austin, Darnell Mooney, and Jalin Hyatt occupy the second tier. Beckham is joined on the third string by Isaiah Hodgins, Dalen Cambre, and rookie Malachi Fields, with JuJu Smith-Schuster and Braxton Berrios on the fourth string. Berrios is also noted as the top punt returner. The Giants emphasize that these depth charts are unofficial, and the preseason games will provide clearer insights into player positions, starting with their first game against the Vikings on Saturday.
