Giants Place Roy Robertson-Harris on Injured Reserve, Sign Two Players

The New York Giants have officially placed defensive lineman Roy Robertson-Harris on injured reserve after he suffered an Achilles tear during the offseason program. Initially, he was placed on the physically unable to perform list at the start of training camp, which allowed for the possibility of a late-season return.

However, the recent move to injured reserve confirms that he will not be able to return this year. Additionally, the Giants waived wide receiver Beaux Collins with an injury designation, meaning he will revert to injured reserve if not claimed by another team.

To address the roster vacancies, the Giants signed defensive backs David Long and D.J. James. Long has experience from playing in 86 games across several teams, including the Rams and Colts, while James, a sixth-round pick by the Seahawks in 2024, appeared in one game for the Patriots last season.
