Giants Promote Trent Harris to Major League Roster

The San Francisco Giants have officially selected the contract of right-handed pitcher Trent Harris, enabling him to make his major league debut. This decision comes after the team created openings on their 40-man roster following trades made at the deadline.

To accommodate Harris on the active roster, the Giants have optioned right-hander Tristan Beck to Triple-A Sacramento. Prior to this announcement, it was reported that Harris was expected to be activated soon.
