Giants Promote Turner Hill to Major League Roster

In the 2026 season, he excelled at both Double-A and Triple-A levels, boasting a .353 batting average with a .420 on-base percentage and a .529 slugging percentage in the Pacific Coast League. His performance includes a 26-game hitting streak, nine home runs, and 23 stolen bases.

At 27 years old, Hill's minor league success is notable but tempered by his age. Despite being recognized for his elite contact skills, he has been critiqued for his lack of power. The Giants are looking to evaluate Hill's potential as a fourth or fifth outfielder, especially given the team's struggles in the second half of the season.
