Giants Release Wide Receiver Ryan Miller Ahead of Preseason Finale

The New York Giants have waived wide receiver Ryan Miller as they approach their preseason finale this week.

Miller, who was claimed off waivers from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last December, did not participate in any regular season games with the Giants. He recorded one catch for 14 yards in the team's first preseason game but did not make any receptions in the subsequent game against the Dolphins.

During his time with the Buccaneers, Miller accumulated 14 catches for 162 yards and three touchdowns over 25 games in the past three seasons. The Giants will need to finalize their roster by cutting down to 53 players by the deadline on Sunday afternoon.
