Giants Sign Free Agent Center Brenden Jaimes

The New York Giants have reached an agreement to sign free agent center Brenden Jaimes, according to a report by Dan Duggan from The Athletic.

This move comes as the team faces challenges at the center position, with John Michael Schmitz likely entering concussion protocol and backup Lucas Patrick dealing with an injury sustained during practice.

Jaimes, 27, previously worked out for the Giants earlier this week. He has played in 50 games over five seasons, primarily with the Los Angeles Chargers, and spent last season with the New England Patriots, where he participated in four games, contributing 22 offensive snaps and 28 on special teams.
