Giants Sign Linebacker Chandler Martin
Chandler Martin has officially signed a one-year contract with the New York Giants after previously being waived by the Philadelphia Eagles. The second-year linebacker, who played for the Ravens last season, is now participating in practice with his new team.
Martin initially joined the Eagles in March but was cut in June, leading to a period as a free agent. He had previously been an undrafted free agent following the 2025 draft and spent time on the Ravens' practice squad, appearing in three games last season. After recovering from an ACL tear, he has received full medical clearance and is looking to establish a special teams role during training camp.
In a related move, the Giants waived running back Dante Miller due to a groin injury, who is expected to revert to injured reserve after clearing waivers. This development comes amid ongoing discussions regarding the team's running back situation.
