Giants Suspend Harrison Bader's Pay Following Scooter Accident

Giants president of baseball operations Buster Posey stated that the team is investigating the incident and that Bader will not receive pay until he is able to return to play. Bader, who has been sidelined since May 29 due to plantar fasciitis, was involved in a collision with a fire truck, which has complicated his recovery process.

While Bader was seen socializing at bars prior to the crash, he has a history of scooter-related incidents, including a previous accident in 2014 that resulted in a suspension. The Giants are facing challenges in their investigation as Bader has not fully cooperated. His agent has not commented on the situation, and the Players Association may file a grievance on his behalf regarding the pay suspension.
