Giants Trade Guard Joshua Ezeudu to Chiefs for Future Draft Pick
The New York Giants have finalized a trade sending guard Joshua Ezeudu to the Kansas City Chiefs for a seventh-round pick in the 2028 NFL Draft. Ezeudu, who was selected in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft, has started 10 games and played in a total of 33 games during his career.
At 26 years old, Ezeudu has shown versatility on the offensive line, occasionally stepping in at left tackle when needed. He missed the entire 2025 season due to a calf injury. The Chiefs, who have been addressing depth issues on their interior offensive line, view Ezeudu as a valuable addition at a low cost.
This trade follows another recent move by the Giants, who dealt offensive lineman Daniel Faalele to the Jacksonville Jaguars for a sixth-round pick in 2027. Giants head coach John Harbaugh indicated that the team is looking to optimize their roster and take advantage of opportunities to acquire future draft picks.
