Giants Trade Offensive Guard Joshua Ezeudu to Chiefs

The New York Giants have traded offensive guard Joshua Ezeudu to the Kansas City Chiefs, as reported by Mike Garafolo of NFL Media. The transaction took place on Tuesday night, with the Giants receiving a seventh-round pick in the 2028 draft in return.

Ezeudu, who is 26 years old, was serving as a backup to Jermaine Eluemunor at right tackle on the Giants' depth chart. Although he was primarily positioned at right tackle, coach John Harbaugh indicated that Ezeudu would be trained in various positions.

Selected by the Giants in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft, Ezeudu missed the entire 2025 season due to a calf injury but has participated in 33 games overall, starting in 10 of them. The Chiefs sought to bolster their offensive line depth, particularly at right guard, where they have Trey Smith.
