Robertson, who earned her title shot after defeating Amanda Lemos earlier this year, plans to leverage her ground pressure to differentiate herself from Dern's grappling skills. She believes that while Dern may excel in pure jiu-jitsu, her own approach in mixed martial arts will prove superior.

Instead of pursuing submissions, Robertson intends to utilize strikes and ground-and-pound techniques to secure a victory, predicting that a TKO is more feasible than a submission against Dern. If successful, she has expressed a desire to face Zhang Weili next, emphasizing the importance of defeating her to establish herself as the champion.
