Gillian Robertson has raised doubts about the sincerity of Din Thomas's public apology after UFC 330, claiming it was motivated by television ratings rather than true remorse.

Following her loss to Mackenzie Dern in Philadelphia, Robertson addressed the controversy during a statement on The Ariel Helwani Show. She noted that Thomas's retirement announcement caught her team off guard, and although he later apologized on his podcast, his comments suggested a lack of genuine regret.

Robertson revealed that Thomas communicated privately with her after the announcement, but his subsequent remarks to her team diminished the impact of his apology. Despite their long-standing coaching relationship, she stated that she does not intend to continue discussions with Thomas and is focused on her training and future competitions.
