Glenn Howard and Ferbey Four Inducted into World Curling Hall of Fame

Glenn Howard from Ontario and Alberta's Team Randy Ferbey have been announced as inductees for the World Curling Hall of Fame in 2026, according to an announcement made by World Curling.

Howard, 64, achieved gold medals in all four of his world men’s championship appearances, serving as third for his brother Russ, a Hall inductee since 2015, and as a skip. His record of 25 years between his first world title in 1987 and his last in 2012 is the longest in the event's history.

The Ferbey Four, based in Edmonton, dominated the early 2000s, winning four Brier championships in five years and three world titles. The team, which includes vice-skip David Nedohin, second Scott Pfeifer, and lead Marcel Rocque, will join skip Randy Ferbey, who was previously inducted in 2014, marking them as the sixth complete team to enter the Hall. Additionally, Hungary’s Gyorgy Nagy will be recognized as a builder for his contributions to curling and mixed doubles in his country.
