Gonzalez Predicts Messi Will Reach 1,000 Goals After Stellar Performance

Kily Gonzalez, head coach of Inter Miami, has expressed his belief that Lionel Messi can reach 1,000 career goals after another impressive display in a match against Atlanta United.

During the game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Messi scored two goals and provided an assist, contributing significantly to Miami's 3-1 victory. This win strengthens Miami's position in second place in the Eastern Conference, while Atlanta remains in 14th place.

Gonzalez remarked on Messi's remarkable performance at the age of 39, noting his ability to inspire those around him. Messi's goals have brought his career total to 936, making the milestone of 1,000 goals a realistic target, according to Gonzalez.
