Good Good Golf Apologizes for Controversial Advert
Good Good Golf, a popular American content creator with a significant following on YouTube, has apologized for an advertisement that showed a woman being pushed to the ground. The ad, created for Callaway, faced criticism for trivializing violence against women.
The controversial scene featured Good Good co-founder Garrett Clark pushing professional golfer Alexis Miestowski as he exclaimed about his new golf driver. Following the backlash, Good Good acknowledged that the video did not align with their brand values and has since removed it.
Callaway expressed disappointment over the content and appreciated Good Good's prompt response. The PGA Tour, which has collaborated with Good Good, also condemned the video, reaffirming its commitment to inclusivity and respect within the sport.
