Representative Pocan also commented on the race, mistakenly referring to it as a Formula 1 event, which prompted Rahal to correct him and point out the significance of IndyCar races in Wisconsin. Kyle Kirkwood won the race, with Rahal finishing 13th after leading for 12 laps.
