Grayson Waller Addresses WWE NXT Return as Not a Demotion
Grayson Waller made a surprising return to WWE NXT on July 28, aiming to shake things up and pursue the NXT Championship. Although some fans viewed his move back to NXT from WWE's main roster as a demotion, Waller asserts that it was a deliberate decision.
Waller explained that he received a call from a respected figure in WWE who invited him back due to a lack of excitement in the men's division. He emphasized his passion for wrestling and the significance of the NXT Championship, which he has yet to win. In his return promo, Waller noted that the women's division had outperformed the men's for some time, and he believes his comeback has motivated other male talents to improve.
Currently, six NXT wrestlers are vying for Waller's championship title: Tony D'Angelo, Mason Rook, Saquon Shugars, EK Prosper, Cruz Montana, and Keanu Carver. To find his next challenger, a tag team match involving some of these competitors will take place first.
