Waller shared that his decision to update his look was influenced by Roman Reigns, who complimented him on his new attire during the Royal Rumble. Waller acknowledged that his previous gear may have hindered his image as a title contender, and he felt that the new tights made him appear more like a champion.

Since embracing this new presentation, Waller has experienced a resurgence in his career, winning the NXT Championship just 33 days after his return. He is now set to defend his title against Tony D’Angelo at NXT Halloween Havoc.
