Greg Gaines Joins Buffalo Bills as Free Agent

The Buffalo Bills have signed free agent defensive lineman Greg Gaines, as reported by Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.

This signing coincides with the release of defensive tackle Tommy Akingbesote. Gaines, who is 30 years old, played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last season, participating in all 17 games and starting in four, accumulating 23 tackles and two sacks.

Originally drafted by the Los Angeles Rams in the fourth round of the 2019 draft, Gaines spent four seasons with the Rams before moving to the Buccaneers in 2023. Over his career, he has played in 108 games, starting 34, and has recorded 186 tackles, 14.5 sacks, and 35 quarterback hits.
