Gregory Rodrigues Responds to Cheating Allegations After UFC Victory
Gregory Rodrigues has denied allegations of cheating after his decision victory over Anthony Hernandez at UFC Sacramento. He acknowledged that he may have unintentionally grabbed Hernandez's gloves during the match.
Rodrigues, who has now won four consecutive fights in the UFC, faced Hernandez, who suffered significant damage from calf kicks throughout the bout. Hernandez claimed that Rodrigues repeatedly held onto his gloves during exchanges, but the referee did not intervene despite his complaints.
In response, Rodrigues stated that Hernandez is aware he did not cheat and emphasized that the referee would have acted if there were clear violations. He maintained that his performance, including effective leg kicks and striking, determined the fight's outcome, while also expressing respect for Hernandez as a competitor.
