Guardians Set to Face Rays in Game 6 with Armstrong as Opener

The Guardians have confirmed Shawn Armstrong as their opener for Game 6 against the Rays. Armstrong has pitched four scoreless innings in the series so far.

Drew Rasmussen of the Rays continued his impressive postseason by allowing only one run over seven innings in Game 5, maintaining a 1.29 ERA across three playoff starts. His consistent performance has made him a reliable option for the team.

Guardians rookie Parker Messick struggled in his last outing, needing 57 pitches for just six outs. While he gave up two earned runs, he may be available for relief in Game 7 if necessary. The Guardians face a challenging matchup with Freddy Peralta starting for the Rays, who previously delivered six scoreless innings in Game 2.
