Guenther Steiner Questions Valtteri Bottas's Commitment at Cadillac

Guenther Steiner has raised doubts about Valtteri Bottas's motivation at Cadillac, indicating that the Finnish driver might be at risk of being replaced if the team opts for a lineup change.

Steiner, a former Haas Formula 1 team principal, shared his views during The Red Flags Podcast, where he assessed the 2026 grid. Cadillac, which entered the F1 scene in 2026, features Bottas and Sergio Perez, both of whom have yet to score points in the first 11 races of the season.

While Perez has outperformed Bottas in qualifying, Steiner assigned him a C grade for his efforts, commending his persistence despite the team's struggles. In contrast, Bottas received a D grade, with Steiner suggesting that he appears to have lost motivation. Steiner noted that if Cadillac decides to make a driver change, Bottas would likely be the one to go, as his performance has not met expectations.
